Yam is a Caribbean restaurant in Washington D.C., started by Grandma Rita Sitney and passed down and run by current head chefs and businessmen Glen Sitney and John Sitney. At Yam, the most important thing about a meal is the people you share it with. Our menu is filled with homemade Grenadian recipes passed down throughout generations. We invite all families into our warmest embrace as we use homemade spices and secret ingredients to bring you both culture and cuisine.
